Erika's POV

I am patiently waiting inside his bedroom and stared from the window because the moon is shining like a diamond. I couldn't recalled when is the last time my eyes noticed it's beauty because of my problems. However, I check the wall clock and it's already 11 pm in the evening. Grayson never marked his words or maybe he's not coming and Ash lied to me. I should expect that because he had enough of me.

"Sorry I'm late," that voice made me turned to the door and didn't notice him coming in. My mind is too occupied that is why I didn't notice him.

"You came. I thought you're going to ditch me..." I uttered.

"I would never do that, Erika. Since Asher told me this isn't a normal discussion," he answered.

"Yeah..."

"So, you've met your step-father. Did he mention anything? Perhaps about me?" He begin the topic with my mother's husband.
