Adrian’s POV

I gasped loudly as I felt like I was catching on fire, burning alive even though there were no real flames enveloping me as I looked down at my body to check.

A second later, I understood what was going on.

“Rhea!” I called out in panic as I jumped off the bed and was out the door in the blink of an eye, heading straight to her room with a tremendous amount of dread.

The last time I felt her pain in my sleep was absolutely nothing compared to what I was feeling right now.

This was a million times more worse. And if the last time was any confirmation, a shallow cut won’t be enough to make it stop. Try a thousand cuts and it won’t even scratch the surface.

I ran fearing the worst.

I could stop her pain without endangering her life. But I knew she wouldn’t ask me if I left it up to her. She would rather cut herself than seek my help. She’s still not used to counting on someone else other than herself.

Ohh Adrian is such a great guy!! Sigh!!! I think letting it all out telling Adrian will be cathartic for Rhea, and then killing Viktor will get rid of it all for good!!
