Mateo's pov

I drove down the road to my house, all the while contemplating what to really do about the whole shitshow. I was tired, and now Caleb isn't back yet, and the day is almost over. I stared at my watch and then at the traffic light, waiting for it to turn back to green so I could continue. All the cars were lined up in piles on the road, and surprisingly, now only one seems to be complaining much. I intentionally sipped down the glass and then poked my head out to find out what was going on out there.

My eyes widened in surprise, my face showing how annoyed I am right now. The traffic holdup I thought was because of the traffic light that was showing red was actually a traffic jam. My eyes raced to the far end, but I can't seem to reach where the packed cars ended or what could have caused such a jam on such a busy day. I had to go back.
