“You’ll marry him for real?” Dior asked.

I looked at her irritatedly. I wouldn’t be complaining right now if I was just jesting about it and it's not as if I have a choice. No matter how much I hated that idea, there's no way I wouldn’t be force to do it anyway. This was bound to happen when the media spread the whole issue about my engagement with Bryce. There was nothing I could do to stop this wedding in the first place. I am merely a useless pawn they could toss if necessary.

“Unfortunately, yes," I answered.

She sighed and looked at Tyler who was silently sipping his wine the whole time. “How about Ron?” Dior asked again. “I'm sure your son wouldn’t like this!” She then tapped Tyler’s shoulder as if begging for help. “Oh come on, Tyler! Say something!”

“It's not a bad idea at all,” Tyler declared.

How is it not a bad idea? The hell is he talking about?

Dior and I looked at him with our knitted brows. “What do you mean?” I asked.

“He’s the type that stays true to his words.”
