The following day, she arrived early. Even though it was only seven in the morning, she was already at work.

When Lany and Mr. Rado arrived, it was eight o'clock. She stopped what she was doing to greet the two, even though it was a little awkward because of what happened yesterday. They didn't even give her a glance. She just turned her attention back to work.
