Helena's POV

I decided to stay with Aida's family first because I have nowhere else to go. I'm thankful that Aida's mother was kind and agreed to let me stay at their house for a while.

I felt happy after my few days of staying at their house. I felt like I suddenly have a sister. Their neighbors were also kind so there was no problem if I stay longer in that place. But our quiet life was suddenly disturbed by a group of men who went to Aida's small village and forced the people to give their harvested crops to them.

"Who are they, Aida? Why are they asking about all the villager's crops when they don't live here in your village?" I asked curiously as we peeked into the small hole in her house. Because Aida's mother did not allow us to go out so all we could peek at and watch the villagers getting robbed by those men.
