Helena's Pov

After walking for almost a day, we finally reached the village where the forest bandits lived. The bandit's group leader immediately presented us to their alpha bandit.

"Helena, I'm afraid," Aida whispered softly in my ear as we stood inside a room and waited for the alpha bandits to enter the room.

"Me too Aida. I'm scared too but we need to show their alpha that we are not scared of him," I answered weakly to her. I could feel her body beside me trembling with fear. I hold her hand and pressed it. I just want her to not be scared and everything will be all right because that's what also I keep on telling to myself.
