Alpha Colt

Lilah was visibly shaking. Linc was trying to hold her steady as Snare and I arrived. Linc shifts Lilah to me. Her arms slip around my waist as she starts sobbing into my chest.

Linc shakes his head at me. I knew by his face that it was bad.

“How bad is it?” I wrap my arms in such a way that they are pressed against Lilah’s ears. Hoping that it would block out some of the conversation.

“They slaughtered the girl.”

“Let me take a look. Take Lilah back up to the house.” Snare mutters as she pushes the door to the small house open.

I could tell how bad it was by the scent of the blood. I didn’t need to look to know that the walls were plastered with Halle’s blood.

Guiding Lilah back to the house. Her tears come thick and fast. Along with the choked up breathing. She hadn’t even cried like this when her mother had died.

Her body is practically glued to mine as she sits on my lap in the office. Her legs drape either side of my legs, her chest pressed against mine as she buries

I’m with Lincs, don’t trust her the more I read the more I don’t trust Snare there’s just something about it, I don’t like and asked for it not been a cent that’s recognised it’s got me thinking someone is hiding the scent

Snare has something to do with it but others are involved sad the friend died

Was Snare pretending to not know she was a wolf. I don’t want to believe is her although she could want the king to herself…
