It took awhile for Brian to heal completely, and I’ve been so thankful for that recovery for every day that I was worried he’d be stolen away from.“It’s still difficult to deal with the guilt,” I admit to him, as we wake up in our bed that morning. Everyone is in an uproar after Rafael is taken away. No one can say whether or not they agree with it without risking the wrath of the current alpha. But everyone is shocked.
