Chapter 6

Beatrice POV

Two weeks have passed since I started working at Alcantara Company as Storm's secretary and the only thing I can say is that the core of my boss's behavior is bad, not a day goes by that he doesn't hate me but even so, I'm getting used to it I'm with him too. Maybe this is the reason why no one stays with him for long because he gets hot-tempered quickly especially when you do something wrong at work and I can't blame him knowing that he is just taking care of their company.

I'm still happy somehow because I've been with my friend Nicole for a long time, we haven't had any communication since we moved house and fortunately she also works here so somehow I know someone. As for my mother, she was operated on a week ago with the help of Sir Storm because he spent everything in the hospital, so I need to fix my job because I owe him a lot. If it wasn't for his help, maybe what would have happened to my mother. For now he still remains in the hospital because it is still necessary.

Sometimes I wonder if she and Kiara are really siblings because she is kind but her older brother is not, I just think that maybe she is just going through something or maybe she just inherited something.

I remembered again what happened one day just because of coffee he scolded me.

FLASHBACK...

I entered the office early to arrange the schedule of my boss, who was conceived out of spite, later he arrived so I stood up and greeted him but he just nodded at me and went straight inside his office so I just continued what I was doing until he called me to send coffee inside so I immediately followed him.

When I finished the coffee, I knocked on the door of his office and then entered. I caught him seriously typing on his laptop so I just walked up to him.

"This is your coffee, sir." I promised and placed it on his table.

He nodded and took it then drank it to see if his face changed.

"What coffee is this? Did you put cream on or not?" he asked me.

"I didn't add cream Sir because you might not like it." I answer you.

"Are you stupid? I wish you had asked me before you brought me the coffee!" he snorted.

I was surprised by the rise in his voice. Am I stupid? I can punch him. "Sir, when you called, you didn't complete what you just said I'll bring you coffee, I know you don't want it without cream. It's a trend to say." I promised and tormented him.

"So you're saying it's my fault? If you don't want to be stupid, you should have asked first, if you're not sure about something, ask before you do it, don't be a hero."

I raised an eyebrow at him. "You insulted me so much! I'm not your boss, you have the right to tell me that! Okay, sorry if I got your coffee wrong, don't worry, next time it'll be fine." I know.

"Good to hear that, you can go back to your work now."

I sighed before turning back. Letse man, if you weren't handsome I might have hit you.

But I hadn't opened the door when he called me again so I faced him again. "What again?"

"You forgot this, do you think I'll drink it?" he said smiling.

I then took the coffee and marched out of his office and returned to my table, I hadn't been sitting for a few minutes when I heard his angry voice calling me again. I stood up again and then went inside.

"What do you need Sir?" I asked him.

"Where is my new coffee?" he said with raised eyebrows.

"You didn't tell me to bring you a new one!" I'm losing patience.

"I told you to bring me coffee right? And you brought the wrong mixture so that means you have to make a new one. Don't be stupid Bea."

I raised an eyebrow at him. "I'm not going to guess, Sir, I'm sure you still want coffee. You're crazy!"

"Are you angry? Maybe you're forgetting that I'm your boss and it's your job to follow my orders."

"And also arrange it because not all of your employees know what's going on in your mind." I'm so annoyed.

"Whatever, it's better if you just buy me a coffee outside of this company."

I sighed and turned away from him. I don't want to fight with him anymore and maybe later he will find me and fire me.

I would have left suddenly if I thought I didn't have any money so I marched back to his office.

"What now?" he asked me.

I extended my palm to him. "The money is mine, I don't have anything to pay for your coffee." I promise.

"Are you that poor that even if you buy coffee you don't have anything?" he will mock.

"Money is important to us even if it's a coin and another thing is that you might not pay me when I use my money, that's a waste." I said

He shook his head and then took money from his wallet and gave it to me. I smiled sweetly at him and then walked out of his office.

END OF FLASHBACK...

Little by little, I got used to his behavior because even though I had only been working with him for two weeks, there wasn't a day that we didn't yell at each other. There are times when I can't help myself and answer him, but when I see that he's angry or something, I'm seriously silent.
