Brynne’s heart thumped wildly as she finally realized what she had agreed to. “You can’t force yourself on me, Luke.” Her breath hitched when his lips grazed her neck upwards to her ear.

“I don’t need to use force. That’s not my style. I’m sure you know that by now! One touch and I’ll have you begging for more.” A tremor went up her spine, not out of fear but from need. The feather light touch of his lips was enough to arouse her. His arm went around her waist and he pulled her flush against his warm chest, holding her gaze all the time.

“It seems you’ve mastered the art of seduction. Do you hook up with every female you see? Just like the one you were talking to earlier.” He stared at her for a minute, and then flashed her a boyish grin.

“You have no reason to feel jealous. I’m only yours for the next six days.” Brynne rolled her eyes, but a warm flush stained her cheeks. She knew he was trying to seduce her to give in.

“I’m not your wife to feel jealous. You can go to hell!” He chuc

DrakeAfter resting for a few hours, we went out to explore the Akrotiri archaeological site nearby. “It’s an ancient Minoan city preserved by volcanic ash.” I held Daniella’s hand as we navigated through an impressive network of buildings and rooms filled with earthenware. We could imagine how life was like in Akrotiri around 3000 B.C. The Minoan frescoes depicted vibrant scenes of their everyday lives and we absorbed all the information we could get. After two hours, we walked towards our shuttle van, glad to have experienced such a site of historical importance. We stopped at a cozy restaurant to grab a late lunch. Perched at the edge of the caldera, with panoramic views of the volcano and the Aegean Sea, the restaurant offered unique Greek and Mediterranean fare. Daniella loved their seafood, while I preferred the authentic Italian fare of spaghetti and meatballs. Mom and my grandpa opted out and returned to the resort afterwards, while we visited the Akrotiri Museum to gain in

Daniella“What? I knew it. You’re the one who has fallen for me.” I grinned, wrapping my arms around his neck. He blinked in confusion and then rolled his eyes at the slip of tongue. “Yes. I’ve fallen for you. It’s almost like a painful addiction I can’t control. So, now you can understand what’s on my mind 24/7.” My mouth hung open at his honest admission. I hadn’t expected him to be so vocal about it. I was addicted to him, too, but I couldn’t confess the way he had. “Oh! That’s bad!” I sympathized with him, although my heart wanted to dance with excitement. He rolled his eyes, noticing the mirth bubbling in my heart. “Yeah! So you’re the only one who can heal me. I need you so badly.” He dumped me on the bed and jumped in like a wild caveman. “Drake, it’ll break!” I shrieked at him. He covered my mouth with his hand. “Stop screaming dammit! Do you want people to barge in?” My eyes widened, and I shook my head. In my excitement, I had completely forgotten where we were. “Oops,

Daniella “I wish we didn’t have to go back to the university for our final assessment. I want to get married and live here with all of you,” said Elena with a pout. She was the youngest among us, with a month left to graduate. I smiled at her enthusiasm. “It’s just a month, right? Study hard and you’ll sail through.”She grinned at me, bursting with excitement. “One month is so long! When is your wedding, Dani? I don’t want to miss it.” “When we return from Greece. It’ll be a quiet church wedding.” Julia nodded. “Yes, Aunt Sarah is unwell. It’s necessary to get her treated first.” “Yes. Once she heals completely, we’ll have a lavish celebration.” Drake ushered us out. “Brynne is here with Lucien. Don’t you want to meet her?”We trooped into Drake’s mom’s apartment to enjoy a lavish dinner with all. Brynne introduced the children, Leonardo, Lucas, and Liliana, who had accepted her as their biological mom. “Now, it finally looks like we’re going to a destination wedding!” said Br

Drake“When did you promise my mom? How do I know nothing about this?” I knew the answer before she could say it. Was it at the Hudson Valley Club? Maybe that explained the change in her attitude towards me. She gave me a hesitant look and turned away. “On Brynne’s wedding day, when I met your mom for the first time. She didn’t want you to know about it.”I frowned and turned to face her. “Why did you make fake promises? You could have turned her down.” She looked upset. “I couldn’t turn her down. Why would I make fake promises? Not everyone is like you.” She stormed away from the terrace to the great room. I rushed after her. Once inside, I grabbed her hand to stop her from fleeing. “We don’t need your pity. I’ll explain it to Mom.” I searched her face desperately. Why couldn’t she tell me why she agreed to be with me forever? I wanted her confession. Why couldn’t she tell me she liked me? Was it such a difficult thing to do? If she didn’t care, why else would she want to marry m

Daniella “It’s not a drastic step. You’re witty, fun to be with, and the se* is mind-blowing. So why not? It’s the only way to keep our moms happy, right?” I gave him a nervous smile, hoping he wouldn’t see through me. Yes, I was nervous. Who wouldn’t be when asked such a direct question? It was the only convincing answer I could come up with. “Are you sure you aren’t in love with me?” he chuckled. “Aren’t you overreacting now? Why would I be in love with you?” I scoffed, although I wasn’t so sure now. Was this love? No, I didn’t think so. He smiled, loving my reaction. “Just joking, Daniella.” He drove through the gates of an iconic architectural masterpiece in Manhattan's most sought-after residential neighborhood. The name engraved on the entranceway of the luxurious condominium read Elysium Hudson Towers! With a private porte-cochère and a landscaped garden complex spanning five towers, this place was grander than the one he took me to a few days back.“I have a duplex here if

Daniella Drake bought me a gorgeous blue dress and many others for the wedding. It was to compensate for staying away from me for so long. I bought him a matching pale blue dress shirt. We could coordinate later when we went out on a date. He treated me to an exotic dinner at the most sought-after restaurant in the mall. It was a lavish treat, and we returned home, loaded with shopping bags and sweet memories of our date. Drake followed me to my apartment even after my goodnight wishes. “What? Aren’t you going home?” I gaped at the guy, although my heart skipped a beat. My body reacted at the thought of picking up where we had left off.“No. I’m staying the night. We’ll go to my house tomorrow.” His eyes sparkled with desire, and I knew he was more excited than I was.I smacked my forehead, having forgotten to inform my mom about my plans. “Shit! I forgot to tell mom. Wait, I’ll talk to her.” I rushed out to inform Mom before she retired for the night. Apparently, Mom knew since t
