TYLA'S POV

Fear gripped me as soon as Aurelius came out with his outburst and I unintentionally squeezed Thane’s hand.

I could feel the tension radiating from him as his body stiffened as his grip on my hand tightened almost painfully.

I glanced up at him, and the look on his face made my blood run cold.

His eyes were dark, his jaw clenched, and I could see the barely contained rage radiating from him.

“Because she isn't yours but mine…Tyla is my mate.”

Aurelius didn’t flinch.

He stood tall aa his gaze steady as he addressed not just Thane, but the entire pack.

“Thane rejected her as his mate, and she accepted that rejection…The Moon Goddess has seen fit to grant her a second chance..a second mate. And that mate is me.” Aurelius said.

I widened my eyes in shock as I wondered how Aurelius got to know about that information.

The only one I told was Lilian and no one else's.

The murmurs started almost immediately and a ripple of shock and disbelief spreading through the pack.
