THE CONFESSION

" Mom, I'm not ready," I said to her, she has been asking me this question since I turned twenty like I was already old.

" Well, can you see that? You said you're not ready but today you didn't say you haven't found a girl which means there's a girl, introduced her to me," My mom said, like hell, so she would scare my girl away.

" Mom please stop it, let's not talk about that now, Let's talk about you, how have you been?"

" No, no, I'm not changing the subject, as you can see I'm doing very well and would do even better when I had grandbabies coming over for vacation, so my dear son, nothing is more important than this right now, we're talking about when you're getting married," There was no escape for me, but I couldn't tell her, my mom would be breathing down my neck, but this was my mom and I never hide anything from her and she always supports me in whatever decision that made me happy.

I had no choice but to tell her.

" Mom," I said with a sigh, I was contemplatin
