Jiang Sese slept through the morning, and when she woke it was already past 1pm.

When she sat up, she massaged her aching temples before she got out of bed.

At that moment, the door to the room opened and Shang Ying walked in.

Seeing that she had woken up, she said gently, “I’ve made you porridge, come down and eat.”

Jiang Sese smiled in reply, “Okay.”

The both of them went downstairs together.

Jiang Sese sat down at the dining room, and Shang Ying placed a bowl of porridge in front of her as she said, “Eat it while it’s hot.”

Seeing the soft porridge in the bowl, and the aroma of chicken soup, Jiang Sese was very moved.

“Thank you, Aunty Shang Ying.”

“Silly girl, no need to be so formal.” Shang Ying pretended to be displeased and glared at her, before she said, “Eat up, before it gets cold.”

Jiang Sese lowered her head and slowly ate.
