Chapter 161 Mislead Her on Purpose

Jiang Sese watched in resignation as Jin Fengchen placed the order. She didn't know what to say. It wasn't like the bill would bankrupt the Young Master here.

While they were waiting for the dishes to be served, Jin Fengchen asked Jiang Sese about her work, for he had had an inkling since he first saw her tonight that something had been bothering her.

"How's the project going?"

Jin Fengchen had heard from Su Shan before he came here that Jiang Sese had been given the project on short notice. The client seemed to be a handful and he wondered how Jiang Sese was doing.

Jiang Sese heaved a sigh, and then said, "They've been giving me a hard time on purpose. I haven't actually met the client yet, and their assistant took the business plan away this afternoon. I don't know what to expect."

Jiang Sese looked crestfallen after the subject was brought up.

Frowning, Jin Fengchen tried to comfort her. "Don't worry. I'm sure you'll think of something eventually."
