Chapter 918 Diversion

After John spoke, the air turned dead silent. There was an invisible pressure that pressed down on them all.

John gulped unconsciously. The temperature in the restaurant was very cool, but his back was breaking out into sweat.

The man sitting opposite him had a neutral expression. It was impossible to tell his thoughts, but his anger was palpable.

“Mr. Bo Gelian…” John said carefully.

He had prepared himself before he came, but he still felt fear despite himself.

Even though he was older than Bo Gelian, he was not his match in mental acumen and ability. Furthermore Bo Gelian was a ruthless person.

It was natural for him to be afraid.

Bo Gelian’s eyes were lowered. His gaze was fixed on his fingers which were running along his glass. He was silent, as though he did not hear John.

John did not dare speak as well. He simply sat like a statue waiting for Bo Gelian to speak.
