Ella managed to locate Betty’s apartment that morning and went over. She knocked on the door and Betty answered. She was looking a little weak.
“Yes; who are you?” she asked in her husky voice.
“Hi! I’m a friend of Collen’s.” Ella replied putting up a fake smile at her.
Betty took a good look at her and recalled seeing her once at Claire’s when Raul and his friends still lived there. She managed to put up a smile and then opened the door to allow her in.
“Hi! I just wasn’t expecting anyone; that’s why I’m surprised.”
“I know,” Ella replied walking in gallantly. She gazed around Betty’s apartment to find that it was a small and messy apartment.
“Please sit here.” Betty dusted the couch and Ella felt indulged as she sat trying to conceal her irritation.

Collen was excited to have Hayley around for a couple of days. They had a lot to talk about and Hayley had so much to share with him and his friends about the mainlands. It was a weekend and Raul was off work this weekend so Tom had invited him and Hayley to the house for a little get-together.
