Chapter Twelve: Tiana’s Family.
Tiana was welcomed into the house with laughter, her family laughing to something she was sure someone had said. She smiled as she entered the house, her boss’ scent overwhelming her.
“Hi, guys.” She greeted cheerfully, her eyes finding his.
“Welcome, honey.” Alex replied.
“Since you guys are having fun without me, I’ll go get changed.” She announced feeling a little jealous, she paused on the stairs.“Is dinner ready?”
“No, your father’s waiting for you.” Karen replied.
“Why?” She asked, stunned at the reality that her parents hadn’t prepared the dinner and the guests were already here.
“The dishes.” Alex replied.
“It’s not my turn, it’s Ems.” She protested.
“Yesterday was mine.” Emmaline’s protest rang loudly in the house.
“It’s still yours today.” Tiana insisted.

Chapter Fifteen: Tiana dug her nails into his lap grabbing it tightly, her heart pulsing widely as he swerved off the road avoiding other road users by a hair.
