Alpha Farrell’s Pov

“We've arrived,” My phone buzzed with a message from Kirk.

I let out a deep breath as I stood from my table, walking to meet him outside. Now that he was here, there was something familiar about his face, but I wiped it off my mind as I offered him a handshake.

“I thought you never trusted people enough to shake their hands,” he said as he took my hand in his, shaking it.

I let out a little chuckle. “Did not think you would remember an incident from so long ago.”

“But I did,” he said as he widened his hand.

“I don't shake people when I'm outside my territory," I pointed out. "In here, I'm sure no one would dare try something funny," I said, giving him a fake smile.

“I see," he said tersely, and I led the way into the house.

“Looks like you want this meeting to be as private as private could be,” he said as he looked around when he noticed I led him into my study. “Which means the lady you brought to the meeting would not be here. Your Luna I mean.”
