Chapter 12

After two weeks of close observation, I slowly put my guard down.

Jake had yet to bring anyone home, and he had also been keeping up with his promises.

He had not been noisy, and he kept the place clean. Most importantly, he cooked for both of us.

All in all, Jake was a breeze to live with.
