Love is Blind!

Walking inside the room, I witnessed his almost half lifeless body lying on the hospital bed. His head and other parts were covered with bandages while his mouth was covered with an oxygen mask. A pang hit my heart at the painful sight as a tear rolled off my cheek. I couldn't help but blame myself every time I saw him like that. It's been a month since he was in a coma.

I never imagined that one day I'd witness his vulnerable side. People are right when they say 'love is blind'. Wiping off my tears, I sat beside him, placing my trembling palm on his fading bruise on his hand. I bit my trembling lips from crying because I need to be strong. Tugging his hand up with both my shaky hands, I pressed a soft kiss on it.

"I-I am sorry. I'm so sorry. Please wake up Vincent, I beg you! Please!"

My tears fell on his hand while I continuously kissed his hand in notion.

"Please for once open your eyes."

When he still didn't open his eyes, my hope started to shake. The fear of losing I can't bear.
