“I want Kass under strict guards. She is not to leave the packhouse. All her doctor’s appointments will happen here.” I declare strongly.

Kass inhales deeply, “excuse us”

Ike and Delaney make a quick exit.

“Kass no, I mean it, this is not up for discussion,” I hold my hand up barely restraining my wolf.

“I’m not a prisoner,” she looks at me hard. “You asked me not to run but to talk to you. You promised to do better, it’s been two hours Eddie, and I’m glad I haven’t unpacked.”

“This is for your and the pups safety,” I hold up both hands in surrender.

“I get that, I do, but let’s discuss it, like a team,” she sits in her chair, I can see and feel her anger. I just got her back and I’m going to lose her again. “There is a Luna I would like to call. She came to this realm before.”

“Human?” I ask.

“Werewolf raised in the human realm. Luna to a large pack. Alpha’s daughter thought her mate was a warrior, turned out he was an Alpha, they had struggles like ours.
