Chapter 64— He's the bad one

My legs carried me as fast as they could as I got out of the taxi and there, I was, in front of the magnificent building where Collins resided.

After Aria and I spoke, she finally let me go with the word that she'd check on me every hour. And now, I sent a text to her that I was fine before I headed towards the building.

Lights glittered around the building housed by front fences and the earlier panic jumped into my chest. The panic I felt seeing my Xander being arrested.

A lump rose to my throat as I wondered if it'd be that easy to get words out of Collins.

"Relax Rosie, it's just a speech. You can yell at him and not do it directly."

With those words, I calmed the anxiety that was slowly building up before I moved towards the gate

And then anger, coupled with rage replaced the anxiety in me and the next second, I was knocking hard on the gate.

"Is anybody in? Anyone in? Who is in, huh?"

As I took my fist to knock once more, the gate creaked open and I was faced with the gateman
