The reaction that Nexus showed us earlier in my mind kept repeating to me. I don’t know if I should be happy because of his concern or because he is so annoyed with Haze.

I glanced at Haze who was sleeping next to me. He was sleeping soundly and looked like he didn’t go through anything but after he told me everything he went through, his longing for me and letting Nexus go when he marked me as his master. Haze is kind, even though his face is always serious and you think he’s always angry when he stares at you, somehow he treats me and all the creatures around us well.
