Morgan did not bother to mince words. She said it plainly without even bothering to think of whether she is hurting his feelings or not. But that is the truth, she didn’t care. She never loved him. She has always thought that Lucien is the one forcing himself on her all because they are fated mates.

At first, she thought she was going to fall in love for him with time—she thought if she tried harder, her heart will begin to reciprocate to his kind gestures but in the two years that they have been together, she didn’t even love him at all, let alone want to spend forever with him. She met Rowan at a club a year ago and since then, they have been in a secret relationship. Not like he was kinder or better than Lucien but her heart just beat for him in ways that it has never beat for her fated mate.
