Arnold did not have to answer, the door burst open with a force that made Hayley jump in fright, but her shock intensified when Ursula walked in, elegant as ever. Alex hung up immediately, his eyes flying to the door. Ursula stopped short as soon as she entered, she looked from Alex to Hayley, back to him and then her eyes settled on Hayley again.

Hayley was huddled in the corner, her mouth hanging open and her lips literally trembling. Her legs were still weak from the intensity of Alex's kiss, and yet here she was again, standing face to face with the woman whose husband she just neatly had sex with.

The tension in the room was chilling, and the silence was everything compared to a graveyard. Hayley saw the flash of anger in Ursula's eyes, and she saw her beautiful face twist in a painful frown. She swallowed hard, not knowing what to say, what was she supposed to say?
