JARED'S POV I laced up my shoes and then I ran my hands through my hair as I was getting ready for my date with Aurora. Honestly, after what happened yesterday, I was just glad she still wanted to go with me. After Rebecca got home and told me what happened, I was furious. I tried to go looking for those wolves but as Rebecca mentioned, I didn't know what they looked like. I don't think I had ever been so angry. AURORA'S POVI took a look in the mirror, admiring myself. I was dressed in a polka dot halter neck crop top and matching Capri set. On my feet were a cute pair of open toed heels. I wondered whether to wear my hair up or down. The door opened and Chris walked in. I had to refrain from rolling my eyes. JARED'S POV I sat in my room, my laptop on my desk as I attempted to get started on my now piling mountain of homework and essays due. You'd think that being in my third year, I would have less homework but that's not the case. Anyway, technically, my homework wouldn't be piling up if I hadn't neglected it to research Rory. Ever since Albert mentioned the possibility of her being a dormant, him and I had been trying to do research to find out her origins. AURORA'S POV“You should have seen him Finn," he was so hot," I said excitedly as I lay on Finn's bed in his dorm room. “Uh-uh," he replied non-committal as he typed away on his phone. It had been three days since I resumed college and apart from move-in day, this was the first time Finn and I were seeing each other face to face. JARED'S POV Peaches and honey, that was what she smelled like. I could still feel the scent wrap around me like a comforting blanket as I started the car. I really didn't want to leave her but I had to get to the pack house. I now understood what Rebecca meant when she said she was raised human and I needed to find out how that was possible. Wolves typically didn't leave their pups in the care of humans. I knew she was a wolf. Why would I say that?He chuckled at that and I swear it sounded like he was a god or something, not that I knew what gods sounded like but I bet they'd sound like him. He looked ethereal. He was dressed in straight leg dark wash jeans and a white tee. He had on a matching denim jacket over the look and on his feet were some black sneakers. He accessorized his look with a simple silver chain on his neck. He had on some matching silver bracelets on his wrist and he had on rings on his index and middle finger on one hand and the index finger of the other hand. His dark hair fell messily in front of his face and I had to resist the intrusive thoughts that were telling me to run my fingers through it.
