WINNING THE NANNY’S HEART Chapter 4: Fall Apart

"Why do you keep making excuses to get rid of me, Dylan? Do you mean what you said the last time you apologized? Is it because you want to scold and rain words on me again? How come you can't understand me?!" Scarlett burst into tears, her words suffused with anger and frustration. She couldn't get it. The last time he coaxed and apologized to her, Scarlett just wanted to ask him to take their relationship to the next level, and he began to change the subject as if Dylan was allergic to the idea of being wedded to her.

"Scarlett, not now, please. I have a meeting with my father and his investors minutes from now." Dylan reasoned out, calmly applying what Madison had told him that night. He's trying his best to be the water to simmer Scarlett. However, Dylan couldn't stand spouting harsh words that he knew would hurt Scarlett's feelings.

"Not now? Come on, Dylan! I know you're busy, but why can't you just give me a few seconds of your time? You keep on making excuses! Am I just a speck of dust here? A speck of dust you wanted to brush away so you can talk with the daughter of one of Uncle's investors?!" A shattering noise from a brittle thing scattered on the floor; it was an expensive flower vase.

"Blast it! Scarlett, can you please just leave? We will sort out this matter once the meeting is done. Come on, don't screw this situation farther…." Dylan sighed heavily as he pulled the sulking Scarlett closer to the cage in his arms. "…Please?" Dylan hummed as he tried to brush her hair, but Scarlett distanced herself and stormed outside his room.

"Are they fighting again?" Sophie asked as she swept the dry leaves through the dustpan.

"What's new? I can feel the Young Master's frustration towards the lady." Emily responded with a tone of disgust.

Madison couldn't help but glance at the second-floor window where Dylan's room was. The salt air made the three feel the chills brought by the summer.

"Are they always like that? Do they argue a lot?" Madison asked while reminiscing Dylan's words last time they had a conversation.

"You should get used to it. Scarlett always gets jealous of every woman who tries to approach me, and that wasn't the first time we quarreled as serious as that. It was quite tiring to deal with her."

Emily's jade pair of eyes peeked at Madison. "Yes, Ever since I came here, I can't stand the sight of the Walk out Queen. Their situation repeats every time the lady will visit the Carter's Mansion."

Sophie chuckled and added, "Yes, Emily's words were true. The Young Master always had difficulty coaxing the lady because she insisted on the notion of betrothal. The Young Master is ambitious, and the lady is too narrow-minded to understand his reasons."

"You two, stay out of their quarrel. It's their problem to fix. We are just maids. So, play dead as if you didn't hear nor see them arguing like that." Mila, the Head Housekeeper, said as she pierced her stern eyes on the three.

Sophie gulped and gave Mila an apologetic smile, the same as the two. The three continued doing their choirs and finished it immediately before dawn.

Mila was walking to inspect the workers in the manor; since Dylan was born, she was present in the Carter's Mansion and noticed the changes throughout the ages. Dylan is a brilliant kid, he may lack the love and attention of his parents, but Mila has been taking care of him.

Mila noticed that Dylan's room was open; she took a peek and saw how the child seemed devastated, and the frustration was evident in his handsome face. Mila knocked on the door twice and didn't mind. It was open. "Is this Old Lady allowed to enter the Young Master's room?"

From his frustrated countenance, Dylan's face brightened a little. "Mila, it has been a while since you visited my room."

"My Apologies, This Old lady has a lot of responsibilities to perform and accomplish as the Head of the Housekeepers," Mila retorted as she sat on the chair near her.

"It seems like the misunderstanding between you and the lady became frequent," Mila stated as she crossed her arms firmly.

Mila witnessed Scarlet's behavior becoming worse. Even the maids inside the Mansion couldn't help but sympathize with their master for having an intolerant girlfriend. Mila couldn't stand seeing Dylan with her anymore. Since the child kept following Dylan around, Mila knew something was wrong with the lady's actions.

"I am trying to understand her. She gets jealous easily without concrete reasons or shreds of evidence. The last time, she got jealous of an acquaintance with whom I had a conversation. Is having A conversation with an old friend an act of flirting? It was the same thing, over and over again. And whenever she keeps on switching our topic to marriage, I can't help but feel irritated. Is she that eager to marry me? Talking with her for a short time wasn't an act of how I showed my love for her? Why can't she understand that I am a busy person?" Dylan palmed his face. He let a heavy sigh and whispered, "And I am getting tired of it."

While on the other hand, it has been a month since Madison started to work as a maid in the Carter's Mansion. While resting in her room, after cleaning the vast Mansion, Madison's eyes searched for her wallet and opened it. A smile slowly crept on her lips as a lone tear fled from her

eyes. Feeling the weight in her heart, Madison couldn't help but miss her family. Their simple life in the province was filled with tranquility and away from chaos.

Their smiling faces, her mother who will wait for her return after selling vegetables in the street. Her sisters will pull a prank on her but, in the end, will embrace her. Her Auntie Sabina loves to sing in the middle of the street and the loud yet fantastic community of people living a contented life with harmony.

Silent sobs filled her room as her thumb caressed the face of her beloved family. She couldn't help but miss them so much. "Come on, Madison, keep yourself motivated. You are doing this for them, right?" despite the quivering pitch that her voice produces, Madison encouraged herself. She was wiping her tears when her phone buzzed, and her heart almost sank when she saw her Aunt's name on the Caller's ID.

She cleared her throat to assure her Aunt Sabina wouldn't notice that she cried.

"…Auntie?"

"Madison!" Her Aunt Sabina greeted her with delight and excitement that made Madison's heart at ease.

"How are you doing?" How are they treating you? Have you eaten at the appropriate time?" Her tears were about to fall again after hearing her Aunt's voice, but Madison tried to keep her emotions intact.

"I am doing fine, Auntie…Yes, The other housekeepers were treating me well. Yes, I was eating different foods here and learned to cook them. Don't worry; once I visit, I'll cook that food for you, guys."

Madison heard her Auntie let a heavy sigh of assurance on the other line. She seemed glad that the people in the manor were treating her right and warmly.

"Madison, there's someone who wanted to talk to you…." Her Auntie Sabina said.

"Is that the man whom we owed money to last time? Tell him that once I get my salary, I'll pay him immediately—"

"M-Madi…son…M-my Child…." Madison felt her heart pound at the moment that she heard the

the voice that she had been longing to hear for years.

"M-Mother?" Madison asked as her hand tightened on the phone. Wanting to cross the distance

between them and embrace her mother right away.

"H-How a-are you? A-are you doing f-fine? D-don't overwork yourself…." Her mother's voice seemed weak, but she tried to speak for her. Her mother was already awake, making Madison burst into happy tears.

"I-I am doing f-fine here, M-mother! Y-You, see… I made friends with the other maids here, they are nice! And I learned a lot of things from them! So please, Mother…make yourself stronger…so that, when I come back, I have the money to pay our bills, and we will live together, okay?" She murmured, wiping the tears from her face.

"Y-yes…Mother loves y-you…r-remember that…." Madison couldn't contain the overflowing happiness she was feeling right now; hearing those words from her mother motivated her to continue enduring the hardships.

"Yes, Mom, I love you more…" Madison told her mother to give the phone to her Auntie Sabina and have a rest.

"Madison, I don't want to pressure you, but we need to settle your mother's bill as soon as possible. Sister needs to stay at the hospital for at least one week so she can be monitored if she's getting better or needs more medications to regain her strength. Your sisters Lily, Penelope, and Cassie volunteered to help me to take extra laundry from our neighbors."

"What? They should be studying, Auntie! Forbid them; I'll work harder, I promise."

Dylan was too tired to argue with the woman in front of him. Scarlet kept demanding his time, telling him he wasn't doing anything to pour her his time.

"You always said you would make it up with me, but you never do!" Scarlet whimpered, throwing her tantrums.

"Scarlett, come here, babe…." Dylan whispered in a soft voice without a hint of anger or irritation. Scarlett's lips purse as she does what her man instructed her. She sat on his lap and leaned on his Masculine chest.

"I'm sorry, okay? I was tired that time and wanted to console you, but my anger burst before I realized that I hurt you." Dylan mumbled as his hand stroked Scarlett's exposed shoulder.

Dylan was waiting for Scarlett's response, but he felt Scarlett's hand tracing his middle part. Scarlett gazed at him with a mischievous smile on her lips.

Dylan knew that they would end up in his bed. As their tongues entangled, his hands slid down her body and wandered. Dwelling with kisses and the uncontrollable feverish desire continue to arise with temptations.

In seconds, Scarlett breaks the kiss as she removes her top, revealing her pink buds that stood upright on her perky mounds. They did a little foreplay, gasping from pleasure, and slapping sounds of clashing flesh tingled as soon as they started.

"Ah, Mnhg…!" Scarlett's eyes flashed white. Every time Dylan struck, her body would bounce.

"Ugh, do me more!" As Scarlett shouted in too much pleasure, she could feel her flesh stretch inside, tearing her. Dylan's steel was massive enough that he could bring her the pleasure that only he could give.

When Scarlett felt that Dylan was almost at his climax, her lips formed a sly smile because she would ensure that Dylan would cum inside her. So, Scarlett proceeded with her vicious plan; she pulled Dylan closer and kissed him as she wrapped her legs around the man's waist. Scarlett heard his beastly groan as she felt his hot liquid inside her. At last, he came inside her. It's warm, and she's sure she'll bear his child soon.

"What the Fuck, Scarlett!?" Dylan's voice was filled with rage. Scarlett glanced at her flesh as she saw how his juices came out, flowing like an endless river.

"What? You just came inside m—"

"Because you wrapped your legs around me, didn't want to let go! It was an accident, Scarlett! You know that I wanted safe Sexual intercourse, right!?"

"Why are you so annoyed? You came inside me, and I will bear your child! What's wrong with that?" Scarlett asked hysterically as she pulled the sheets and sheathed her body.

"That's the problem, Scarlett! Did I ask you to bear my child? You know that I wasn't ready to settle down! I have plans f—"

"Damn that plan, Dylan! You shoot your load inside me. It's done! We should talk about marriage!"

Dylan pierced his eyes on Scarlett; the look in his eyes made her skin quiver as the words from his mouth made her stiffen as if the world they built fell.

"I'm tired of this. Get out of my sight Scarlett. This relationship needs to take a break." Dylan said bluntly. He clothed himself, and the last thing Scarlett heard was the sound of a slamming door.

Dylan couldn't help but cuss himself. He's certain he loves Scarlet but seeing her behavior change made him doubt it. He needs some time to think. Their relationship should take a break; they might break each other, or else they will fall apart.
