Pang! He felt his car hit someone. Startled, he emerged from the car to find Charlotte, who had been hit by his car.

“Charlotte! Charlotte!” he exclaimed as he ran over to her, shaking.

“Ethan!” Charlotte weakly replied, covered in her own blood.

“Charlotte, you'll be okay, I promise to do everything to…” Before Ethan could finish, he was shoved aside by Derek. “Get out, you bastard,” Derek commanded, looking at Charlotte, who was barely conscious. “Charlotte, don’t worry! Everything will be fine!” Derek reassured her.

“I don’t want to die!” Charlotte repeated tearfully before passing out.

He gently carried her to his car, but as he was about to leave, Ethan stopped him and asked, “Where are you taking her?”
