CHAPTER CCXLVII: AWAKE
Angela’s POV
“Stop crying now, Angela. It’s not your fault."
“It was my fault, Christine… and seeing Lucifer lying there makes me blame myself even more. He hasn’t woken up yet since the day that he tried to save me… If I didn’t ask him to go there, maybe that would never happen…”
Christine patted my shoulders as she began crying too. “He went there because he wanted to save you. That is not your fault, okay?”
“Christine… I don’t know what to do anymore… his parents already asked me to stay away from him… I want to take care of him, I want to be with him until he finally recovers.”
“Angela, I think you should just follow what they said for now. I know how much worried you are but you should understand that they are much worried as his parents. Maybe you can just go and visit him once everything goes well. But for now, I guess you should let them cool down first.” She wiped my tears. “Everything will be okay, Angela.”
