The chatter dies down after I say those words but seconds later, a full-blown argument breaks out in the large hall. Some are screaming yes, it is a disgusting tradition while others disagree.

It’s a good thing this isn’t a public debate and it is not like I’m asking for their input. I’m going to do what I set out to do and they can’t stop me.
