Chapter Fourteen

The next day…

Lucy opened her eyes quite early. She searched the room by her eyes and found Alex standing in front of the mirror. He was buttoning his shirt and whistling at the same time

Lucy felt amazed by this new side of Alex. They’ve been staying together for almost a week now, and she has never seen him whistle early in the morning like this

His face also looked very calm and cheerful. And he seemed to be in a very good mood or something like that

Last night Lucy thought he would show up to check on her after Bella sent Nelia to go and inform him she had woken up, but he didn’t show up until she fell asleep. She didn’t even realize the time he had come back into the room

Lucy folded her blanket and kept it in the wardrobe. After that she went straight to the bathroom and took a quick shower. When she came back into the room, she saw Alex heading outside and quickly called “Alex…”

Alex stood still for a while and slowly turned to face Lucy with raised brows “hmm?..”

“Ahh… it’s Lo
