Patrick’s POV

Marie is going to take a long time to forgive me. My choice was really about her. I don’t want her to ever regret her life.

We land in the Lycan Kingdom and are greeted by my parents.

“I screwed up and to get myself out of the doghouse I had to call Blake, Carlisha, and Tony and tell them about Ceylon. Or get rejected at thirty-five thousand feet.” I tell them before hugs and hellos.

“What did you do?” My mother snarls and hits the side of my head before even hearing my side.

“He got a vasectomy without discussing it with anyone.” Marie interjects.

“You did what?” My dad looked pissed.

“It’s reversible,” I add quickly.

“What if something goes wrong?” My mom asks. “A McConnell has been Alpha for the past 600 years.”

“You are insane,” My father is almost as angry as Marie.

“I’m Alpha, I made a decision. Discussion over,” I use my Alpha command.

They all bust out laughing. Dad is holding us his stomach laughing.

“We are all Alphas; you can’t command us!” Marie gets out.
