“Get another lifeboat ready,” Reign said as he cocked his handgun then looked at me. He took me by the right arm and gently guide me to stand because I was still sitting, “and we will hold the enemy here to protect my woman,” the words he added made me blush, but I was confused.

Why does he keep insisting to become his woman and saying those words? Is this the sole reason why he brought me to the auction? 

“Yes, boss,” I turned my gaze on Reign’s back. One of his men was already preparing another lifeboat. Reign was truly authoritative in all his subjects. Everything that comes out of his lips is immediately followed by them.
