I needed a plan. Ripley was sad, angry, and felt guilty. Fuck, every emotion out there came to visit this week.

Learning that your husband faked his death is already painful enough, but to learn that he only came back for money. Yeah, that fucking sucks.

While I have firsthand knowledge of how it feels to be used for my money, never has something like this happened. Never has someone this close betrayed me. Well, unless maybe my parents.

But I’ve learned early on not to expect much from them.
