Chapter Nine

The next day, Elena woke up early to her mother's yelling. She had left Matthew’s house late due to the discussions between him and Sarah. She didn't even get the hang of their conversation. She just saw they were so immersed when she wanted to get home. It even took time before she could dissect what they were talking about, only to find that it was some book game about their favorite authors.

On the way home, Sarah said that Matthew had asked her if she wanted to hang out, and they might be hanging out together during lunchtime at school. Elena was more than pleased, and she had told Sarah to get to her house early tomorrow so they could both get to school together. But this morning, it was a different case entirely because her mummy was not having the hang of it.

“Tell me, Elena, is it fun to embarrass your teacher or disrespect them? When did you even turn this way? Why would you just want to be a bully and make them report you everytime?” she yelled from downstairs.

Elena grumbled
