Augustus' Villa

Rosalina's POV:

The loud knocks reverberating through the room woke me up. I was lying on the rug, I had slept there only after crying. My clothe were a wrinkled mess and the events of last night hit me, making me want to go back to sleep. 

Why did this happen to me? This question kept hovering on my mind. By now, the knocks on the door were so persistent it seemed like if I did not open the door this second, the person outside will knock it off its hinges. 

"Mrs. Augustus, Are you alright?" The faint sound from outside hit me like a tornado. I was a wife now, and that too of Adam Alexander Augustus. How will I handle this? Where has my life taken me? 

"Mrs. Augustus, if you don't open the door in next thirty seconds, I will have to call for Mr. Augustus." The threat pulled me back from my wandering thoughts. I quickly fixed myself and went to open the door to find an agitated Gina.
