CHAPTER 32: Go out with me, Adele

ARSENIO'S POV

I was driving along Adele's neighborhood on my way to her place. My plan was a perfect, weekend surprise visit. However, my joy was short lived the moment I looked out the window. My face turned sour immediately. She was standing and talking with an unfamiliar man along the pedestrian.

On looking closer, I found it's none other than her ex fiance, the CEO of CR's Luxury, Carlo Rodriguez. I don't like this! I hate what I see now and I'm not going to sit back and do nothing while he crawls back into her heart. He disrespected, humiliated and broke her six years ago. He has no right over her again! I'll make sure of it.

Pulling up at the side of the road, I hurriedly stepped out of my car and hastily but determinedly walked towards them just in time to hear her say;

"Let go..."

She said, although her voice sounded weak_as though she was considering his request. For her sake and my sake, I had to intervene.

"I'm pretty sure the lady said you should let go!"
