Chapter 59

Ragnar's POV

As I raced the car to Lee's pack, I felt my heart pounding in my chest. The palms of my hand were slick with sweat of nervousness. There was something wrong and if I hadn't the car engine, I wouldn't have known.

There was nobody to confirm it but I knew at that very moment that Wulfrick was with her. He would find a way inside no matter how protected I made sure she was. He was a little rat that refused to disappear.

I sped up a little more as the thought prevailed in my mind. I had wasted a few hours due to Sarafina. She had come into my office and since she was pregnant with my son, there had been no choice but to give her all the attention.

My hands itched to call Lee, tell him to get her out of there but he had been kind enough to keep her there anyway, it was best not to push my limits. I had lied to Celeste, Lee wasn't my very good friend.
