Alpha Roman’s jaw ticked, and his fists clenched tight. It was easy to see just how much tension was running through him. Now that I was tuned into the bond, I could feel the heat of fury that radiated from within. However, I knew that it wasn’t aimed at me.

It had been such a long time since I had anyone on my side. I wasn’t certain how I would feel about that. Did it make me a horrible person to question everything?
