Chapter 1

Six teenagers parked their car in front of an abandoned house in Minnesota. They were a group of streamers who often created horror-themed live streaming content. According to rumors, anyone who occupied this house would meet a tragic end. Whether it was real or just gossip, the fact remained that everyone who lived in this house always died in horrifying ways.

"Here we go!" said Max enthusiastically.

"Eiden, are you sure we're going to go live here?" Elly asked hesitantly from the backseat.

"Yes! I've read many articles on the internet discussing this house," Eiden replied with great excitement. He was a bookworm and a walking Wikipedia.

"Well, we're going inside now," Sean said, "Max, get your phone and tripod ready."

"All set!" replied Max.

They got out of the car, except for Luna. She felt something strange about the place.

"Hey, Luna. What are you doing? Come on, girl!" Tania urged.

"Come on, Luna. Don't be a coward, hahaha!" teased Max.

"You fucking shut up, Max!" Luna shouted in frustration.

Max never held back his words. Luna grabbed a scarf and put it on while pouting. There was a strange cold breeze brushing against her face.

Max opened his phone and started their live session. He pointed the camera at his friends. One by one, viewers started joining the live room.

Sean began the session, "Heyya, everyone! We're back with CreepyHells Channel. Oh my god! You won't believe where we are now."

[Hi, guys!]

@riya_frejy

[Wow! You're in a new place again]

@user_3345

[I hope this session is better than last week.]

"We're in an abandoned house in Minnesota. You must have heard the rumors about this house, right?" Elly continued.

"Alright. I guess we don't need to explain much, as most of you probably already know the story about this house. How about we just go in?" Elly asked.

@kurt_455

[Quick, let's go in!]

@tiana.smith

[Boring!]

"Okay, here we go! Don't forget to tap-tap the screen and send gifts, guys!" Sean said as he turned on his flashlight.

They entered a yard overgrown with wild grass. The viewers quickly reached 5k views in an instant. On the other hand, Luna felt increasingly suffocated. The energy in that place was very strong for her. But she didn't want to go back to the car either.

The house was quite large and had two floors. Some parts of it looked dilapidated.

"How many families were killed here?" Tania asked Eiden.

"According to the information I read, there were 8 families who died tragically for reasons that, in my opinion, don't make sense. One of them was a newlywed couple named Franklin and Maria. According to the story, Franklin died by suicide, while Maria went insane."

"Eight families. Well, that's a lot!" Luna said.

Sean tried to open the door, but it didn't work. The police must have intentionally locked the house.

"I guess we can't get in," Tania said.

"I don't think so." Max sat near the open window, smiling. No one knows when he had been there.

"You are welcome!" said him again.

"Wow, dude! I didn't know you had a talent for being a thief," Elly joked.

Sean tapped Max's shoulder. They entered the house one by one through the window.

Inside the darkness, they turned on their flashlights and illuminated the corridor filled with dust and old stuffs. The atmosphere of the house was incredibly eerie, and only their footsteps broke the silence in the room.

Luna felt increasingly oppressed and began to sense something indescribable. "I feel like there are eyes watching us," she whispered.

Max just laughed, "Stop being a daydreamer, girl."

Luna sighed in annoyance at Max's response.

Sean continued to talk, explaining everything to the viewers while exploring the house, moving from room by room. All the rooms appeared dusty, with many items that seemed usable but had been abandoned. It wasn't surprising, as after the last victim, no one had occupied the house, and it had become the property of the local government.

They went up to the second floor and entered the first room near the stairs. Elly found a photo on the table. It was a picture of a happy family.

An elderly couple, a teenage boy, and a teenage girl. From the background, it seemed like the photo was taken in front of this house. But there was something strange in the photo. A dark shadow seemed to be hovering behind them.

"Guys, look at this!" exclaimed Elly.

They gathered around Elly and looked at the photo in her hand.

"What is that?" Max asked, pointing at the black shadow in the photo.

"That's the point," Elly replied.

"There seems to be something off about this house," Tania whispered to Elly and Luna.

"Okay, there's nothing strange about this place," Max said, pointing the camera around the room. "Let's try the second and final room in this house. Come on, guys!"

They left the room and entered the one at the end of the hallway.

The room is resembled more of a reading room. There was a single sofa and a table near the window.

Two bookshelves filled with dusty books stood against the wall. They began to explore the area.

Tania looking through the books on the shelves. Luna opened a drawer near the sofa. It was filled with cassette tapes containing old songs. Nothing caught her attention, except for one black cassette. Luna was about to grab it when Eiden suddenly beat her to it.

"Terrifying, 1934. Have you ever heard this song before?" Eiden asked, flipping the cassette back and forth.

At that moment, they heard footsteps climbing the stairs. Their eyes widened. They are not alone in this place!

Sean looked at his friends, "We need to leave!"

Just as they were about to leave the room, a security guard appeared at the door.

"What are you doing?!" he asked angrily.

"We were just exploring this place for content," Sean replied.

The security guard glared at them, "This is not a place for playing around, and no one is allowed to enter this place except authorized person. Didn't you see the no trespassing sign outside the fence, huh?!"

They fell silent.

Sean tried to speak, "Alright, Sir. I apologize, but-"

"Get out!"

They looked at each other in shock.

"I said, get fucking out! And you-" The security guard pointed at Max, "Turn off your camera!"

Max quickly turned off his camera, and they left the room. It seemed like their performance tonight would be a hot topic among CreepyHells Channel fans in the comment section.

They got back into the car and drove home.

On the way, Luna kept looking back and feeling restless.

"Hey, what's going on?" Elly asked.

"I feel like something is following us."

"Who?" Sean, who was driving, felt curious and looked in the rearview mirror, but the road was empty, and there was no one else besides them.

"I don't know. I just feel like... there's something wrong."

"Sean, watch out!" Luna shouted.
