Laila's POV

I walk slowly to Kieran's study. I wasn't planning on forgiving him easily but seeing him that way made me reconsider my decision.

I wanted him to share his distress with me. I knocked on his door softly not wanting to intrude on his privacy.

"Come in." He grumbled from the other side of the door.

Even his voice that once used to affect me sounds so low, I really need to put things behind me and help him get over whatever he is going through.

I opened the door slowly, taking quiet steps into his office. I have no idea why I'm doing that. As soon as he saw me he jumped up from his chair coming closer to me.

"Is everything alright?" He asked me worriedly.

"Yes, I just wanted to talk to you." I replied softly.

"Talk to me?" He was clearly confused. "Of course, come sit with me."

I nodded my head, he walked me to the couch in his study and we sat opposite each other. I kept my gaze on him, I didn't know how to start or why I'm really here.

    Laila's POV I have been staying in an abandoned hut not too far away from the pack house for the past three days, but now I don't think I can stay here anymore.The place is too quiet and eerie, especially at night.
