Ethan closed the door behind them as they entered Beth's room. It was larger than most of the other rooms he'd seen, but still a reasonable size. The dominant feature was a large and overly full bookcase adjacent to the oversize bed. Otherwise, it looked like a medieval version of any modern teenager's bedroom.

He set down the cube of gold and Alana's weapons and turned to face Beth, who stepped in to give him a hug. They stayed like that for a whole minute before she broke the silence.

"It's weird seeing through the disguise gem," She said.
