CHAPTER NINETEEN

The Kiss

Leanda slowly opened her eyes and groaned as a loud noise erupted in her head. Her head was spinning, and she felt dizzy. She tried to sit up, but the room started to spin faster, and she fell back onto the bed with a thud. As she lay there, she closed her eyes tightly, trying to regain her balance.

When she opened her eyes again, Leanda was disorientated as to where she was. She looked around the room and felt like she was in the middle of nowhere. But as she looked closely, she realized the room was breathtaking. The walls were painted gold, and the intricate designs on them looked like they were crafted with pure gold. The bed was covered in rich, soft linen decorated in gold and silver threads.

There were paintings on the walls - of mountains, forests, and the sea. Some of the paintings looked like they were moving, with waves crashing against the shores and animals jumping around in the forests.
