That bitch! Who the hell does that to their own pup? Who puts themselves first above the well-being of their own flesh and blood? I do not believe she would have been any different if she had taken Eric and myself when she left. Frankly this letter was simply a way of easing her guilt. She had no intention of trying to find us.

I sat there for a few moments letting myself feel the emotions I wanted to feel. Hurt, anger, loss … they were rolling inside of me making me bitter at the thoughts of what that woman had done to all of us. Was she really a victim in all of this? And the way I understood the story she left as soon as we were born. Clearly that was not the case. Even with wolf healing, there would be some time required to heal.

It's so sad that good people keep dying because of other's greed and deviousness. I hope they let all their power fall over Shane, I bet they're working with the corrupted council members.
