*BRITTANY’S POV*

“This can’t be possible” I kept uttering as I left the room in tears.

I got to the living room and the maids looked at me confusedly but I cared less.

I left the living room and knocked on his mom’s door room.

“Come in” I heard her say.

I opened the door and she was on the bed seated. It was obvious she just woke up.

“Good morning. Did Hayden call you?” I asked her.

“No” She answered looking at me.

“Can you call him please? I doubt if he would pick my call” I said.

She just nodded and dialed his number. It rang the first time, he didn’t pick.

Oh goodness.

“Will try again” his mom said and I nodded.

She tried again and this time, he picked.

“Hello” his mom spoke.

“Mom” his voice was low.

“Where are you Hayden? What’s wrong with you?”

“Mom, I just took a little break. I will come back home” he said.

“When? Your wife misses you” she said and I took a deep breath.

“I will come back home” he said ignoring the fact she just talked about me. Ouch!
