Epiphany

Standing in front of the crooked house, Usman took a deep breath and walked inside. Three days had literally passed in a blink of an eye. Usman had begun praying that the plan would work.

Nervously climbing up the stairs, while flinching at every echo of our footsteps, he and Salman straightened their stance as they finally made it upstairs and noticed one room's door closed; that had to be it.

Walking towards the door, Usman gulped as Salman twirled its doorknob and hesitantly pushed it open. Inside, Fahad was pacing by the room's window, with his arms folded behind his back.

"My daughter has made her decision," Usman announced, stepping inside the room. "It's time for you to quit your games."

"Hmm..." Fahad halted, with a smirk evident in his voice. "And her decision is?"

"She wants your mother to live a free life."

"My mother?" Fahad's mood immediately turned confused. "How does she know about my mother.?"

"She met her in the forest.," Usman replied in a chipped voice. "Your mother
