Chapter 19

He pulled me unto the bed with his strength, wrapped his hand around me so tightly on the bed. "I will always love you Elizabeth" he said into my ear. I wanted to push him away but was worried.

I laid there silently. I took in his masculine scent in his warm embrace, he whispered sweet nothings to me.... not me, Elizabeth.

I would be lying if I said that the words he said didn't touch my soft heart, though they made no sense. He was drunk and would probably not remember a thing by tomorrow, so there was no need catching feelings.

I laid there even after he had slept off and removed his hands from me. 

I couldn't control myself from touching his face, there was hurt beneath that strong personality, as much as I wanted to know the entire truth I was scared of the truth, Why?

I slipped out of the bed and creeped out of the room. When I closed the door I turned to see Jeanette at the hall. My heart stopped like I had done something wrong.
