LUCAS’ POV

Since the incident at the club, I tried so hard to reach Audrey, but she blocked me on every side, my messages were ignored and my call transferred to voicemail– that was it! I decided to go and talk things through with her in person, as I pulled up in Audrey's garage, I took a deep breath and rehearsed in my head what I would say to her.

I pressed the doorbell and waited for what felt like forever before Audrey finally opened the door. "Hey…". She tried to slam the door shut, but I held it down. I wasn't about to take No for an answer.

"Audrey, please. Can we talk?" I said, holding the door down so she couldn't close it.

"What could you possibly want to talk to me about after what you did at the club the other day, it does change the fact that you embarrassed me in the presence of the other guest!" she spat out, clearly still angry with me.
