Selina Anderson, a perfect teenager whose life meant nothing but sadness and dull grayness of the world. Oblivious of the secrets her parents hid behind. A power she possessed that neither she, herself, does not know. A power that could either destroy or create worlds. A day without ruthlessness of reality, a day without confronting the cold – Selina decides to pick a book on a winter day. Only to discover that it wasn’t any normal book she’s holding onto her hands. It was a portal – a path to a world of magic. Upon her arrival to this world, slowly, she uncovers the secrets her parents hid all these years. She discovers her true self. But upon finding the truth about everything she thought she knew – she found herself in the face of disdain. Would there ever truly be enough answers to her questions? Will she accept the truth? Or will she be the destroyer of worlds? -- **She suddenly sat up, her light blue hair swaying on her back. "But hey, at least you could always ask me if you want some kind of space or something." She looks at me with the brightest smile pasted on her face. A smile slowly formed on my face as I looked at her. Her smile was like this infectious thing that would brighten the whole room. I sat up and glanced down on the mirrored ground - I could see my own reflection. Blonde hair, red eyes looking right straight at me, a smile. But the smile was almost evil in the reflection. I closed my eyes, the smile that found its way on my face disappeared. "Don't stop smiling." I look up to see Lyv gazing at me softly, observing me. "You look beautiful when you smile."**

Prologue
Snow began to drift down the road - a single snowflake flew swaying down along with the cold breeze of the wind. I watched everything from my large window room. It was dark and the only light emitted was from the frozen lamp post outside which gave a white-yellow shade from the inside.   Everything was filled with snow – the naked trees, the once brown ground, and the pathway leading to the family mansion was now covered with a thick layer of white snow.  The cold season weather sent shivers down my spine as I stood in front of the huge window. Even the steam of my breath was made visible enough for me to see. I cuddled myself with the thick blanket I carried as I look up at the night sky.   One bright star stood out among the gray vast in the sky. It was winking at me. I smiled as I watc

Chapter One
Snow was everywhere as I walked down the alley – sending shivers down all over my body. I cupped both my hands together, blew warm air into them, and rubbed them together, before placing them inside my pockets – mentally scolding myself for forgetting my gray wool gloves.   At this state, I swear my hands will be numb and frozen before I even get the chance to enter the public library.   The street were half frozen and filled with piles of snow from yesterday’s and today’s snowfall. I could even see the glossy ice from the lake from where I was standing, it looked thick enough for anyone to skate over it. I think might stop by there once I’m done at the public library.  Snow never stopped raining down since the start of the month. Weather news last night said it would stop before we know

Chapter Two Part One
An hour or so had probably passed by, and I was still reading the book. I had read a lot of pages from it already in over the hour, and boy you bet I was liking it because I did not want to let go of the book.  Thud! I jump a little on my seat. I look around me, panning my head to the light end where I came, there was nothing there, then to the dark end. I gasp suddenly at the sight.  At the end – where it no longer was dark, was a large white fury and fluffy puff white ball of what I think seems to be from a rabbit’s tail. It was round and it looked soft. I then stood up from where I sat, clutching the book on my chest tight as if it would shield me enough as I step an inch towards the white fluffy tail of the rabbit – slowly and quietly.

Chapter Two Part Two
“What-?”  He looks at me with a fearful expression.  “Listen to me,” his voice was hushed. “Never come back into this place. You hear me?”  All I could do was nod as he looked frantic and fearful.  “Here,” he pushes a book into me harshly. “Burn it and don’t hesitate.”  I opened my mouth to say something but was pulled back by something sticky and cold behind me. I flailed helplessly as I saw the rabbit peak at the corner of the shelf. He looks back at me and waved goodbye.  I screamed as the sticky cold substance pulled me farther away from the opening. It was like gravity pulling me down towards darkness. I was startled when I felt hands

Chapter Three Part One
I woke up with the smell of the ground underneath me, the grass brushed off lightly on my cheeks as I lifted my head to gaze at the place I landed. It was an unfamiliar territory – a thought, no, rather a question popped out of my head, where the hell was I? My head was pounding hard as I got up on my feet, I wobbled as I struggled to stand straight. I panned my sight around, looking at every direction as I surveyed my surroundings. A barren land of cut trees surrounded me as if someone was irresponsibly cutting them for fun, as far as my eyes could see far beyond the barren land – the trees continued to stretch untouched. I looked up at the azure blue sky and saw the moon nearer than the average moon you would see every night. The wind howled gently in my ear, whispering a secret. I could hear the trees rustling from afar – it was serene, and the viridescent color of the trees looked lush. I decided to w

Chapter Three Part Two
I was stupefied by how she was able to also add the last part in which I was thinking a moment ago. “How…?”, I gazed at her hard, searching her face – her expression. She tittered and sat down on one of the rocks as she leaned on her old cane for support – groaning in the process, then she looked at me, motioning for the rock opposite of hers. I gaped my mouth, closing and opening it as I wondered again at the rock that wasn’t there before when I got here. I slowly walked towards the rock and sat, never breaking my eye contact with the old librarian before me. I gulp a lump on my throat, nervous and cautious streaming up my system. She cleared her throat raspily and asked, “You are Selina Anderson, correct?” “Y-yes,” I r

Chapter Four
I breathed in the cold air of the forest. I was feeling the cold now that I noticed I was wearing thin clothing. It wasn’t the best idea to just stand in here and wait for my ass to freeze, especially since my shoes magically disappeared when I teleported here. There were things that I wanted to get the answers from the thousands of questions I have. That old lady sure did make me more puzzled about this whole thing and this royalty thing. It’s so cliche that I suddenly, or rather is, a princess. I’m living in a storybook. It’s almost skeptical that I found this book, got teleported in, and then found out about my parents. Why didn’t they tell me this if this is the world they made for me to live in? Was it that hard to tell me?I sighed once again and picked up the sticks on the ground that I discarded earlier before the old lady came – knowing that I wouldn't kno

Chapter Five Part One
I woke up with a start. Realizing I had fallen asleep last night. The wood and sticks that burned overnight were now a pile of black soot, the torn-up paper I set up beside me turned out to be useless as it seems that I fell asleep last night. I was completely unguarded last night. What would have happened if a bear came in here while I was asleep? But fortunately, nothing happened last night to my relief. I glanced over to the books, and to the candles beside it.I sat there staring at the candles, wondering at my stupidity for not noticing the candles that were just beside the books that I tore the pages of. If there were candles, there must have been a box of matches somewhere in there. I facepalmed myself for not realizing this sooner.“You really are stupid as what that old lady said.”I jumped up o

Chapter Five Part Two
I do not know how long it has been since we left the cave. Walking felt endless, especially looking at the same tree and the same gray sky. The only thing that has changed, was the pile of snow on the ground that seems to rise the more the snow falls. And wearing thin clothes was not the best idea to walk around when it’s snowing. I rub my arms with my hands, hoping that it will warm me enough, but to no avail, I was still shaking from the cold. I could feel the breeze on my skin like a sting, I was breathing heavily now with huge puffs of air shrouding my sight. I could barely walk from my legs shaking endlessly, my lips beginning to chap.“W-wait,” I said barely hearable, but fortunately, she turned and heard me. The look on her face as she gazed over me was enough for her to realize that I was freezing. She stopped in her tracks and t

Chapter Six Part One
There was an image in front of me and a red line that separates the two pictures, a watery portal-like image that stood in the darkness – one was bright, and the other, a dark gloomy place. I looked at both of the images before me, thinking –  what was this? Is this a fine line between where I should stand? Would this make a difference if I step on one of these images? Would this determine the future I was going to take? I looked around me and saw the dark emptiness stretching as far as my eyes could see. There was nothing but myself, now wearing a white dress and barefoot, and a portal-like image. I gazed at the dark gloomy image – I could hear a voice, a whisper, telling me to come –  telling me to choose this path, that this would make me fe
